Robert Leopard Obituary

Robert E. Leopard, Sr., 85, of Fountain Inn, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, May 22, 2025. Born in Laurens County, he was a son of the late Frank & Macy Harvey Leopard. Mr. Leopard is survived by his children, Tammy Guthrie, and Rob (Ann Stephens) Leopard; nine grandchildren, Thomas Guthrie, Deanna Roland, Travis, Nancy, and Shawn Guthrie, Ashlee, Zac, Aaron, and Jessica Leopard; seventeen great-grandchildren; one brother, Dennis Leopard; his sisters-in-law, Olla Phillips, and Helen (Jack) Beaman; and brother-in-law, Danny (Linda) Phillips. He was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Marie Tarrant; his son-in-law, Otis Guthrie; and one sister, Earline Moon. The family wanted to express their appreciation to Mrs. Olla Phillips for her love and the compassion she provided for many years. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 27, 2025 at 12:00 pm in the chapel of Cannon Byrd Funeral Home – Fountain Inn with Pastors Ty Childers and Gary Pruitt officiating. Interment will follow in Cannon Byrd Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home starting at 11:00 am.
