Robert Breedon Obituary
Bob retired after a 44 year career in banking. He was a private pilot and aviation enthusiast who volunteered at the Triple Tree Aerodrome and enjoyed nature and hiking.
Bob graduated from UNC Chapel Hill in 1968 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. He was a Life Member of the UNC Alumni Association, a Rams Club Member, and an avid Carolina Tarheels fan. In 1985 Bob graduated summa cum laude from the Owen Graduate School at Vanderbilt University with a master's degree in management.
Services will be held privately.

Bob and I were high school classmates and friends. We did have some good times together and I send my condolences to his family.

Bob and I were sophomore roommates in Chapel Hill. Bob's even tempered approach to everything we faced as college undergrads was a tremendous influence on me. Never overreact was Bob's mantra and keep a smile was truly something he practiced constantly. The earth has lost a man of highest moral character and his legacy will live on in his children and grandchildren. I will feel a hollow spot in my gut each day knowing he has passed us on but live in the belief we shall meet again one day and once more sing out I gigga zomba zomba zomba I gigga zomba zomba zey...

Bob was a classmate and friend of ours at Grimsley High School in Greensboro. We have repeatedly spoken of him and missed him at reunions. I remember Nancy from way back in our past as well. He was a fine guy and a good friend.
