Richard Youngblood Obituary

Richard Newton Youngblood, 76, passed away October 1, 2025, he was the husband of the late Linda Reid Youngblood. A native of Fletcher, North Carolina, son of the late William H. and Helen Hawkins Youngblood, he was a United States Marine Corps Veteran, a dedicated farmer, a Wofford graduate and a lover of flying planes. Surviving are two daughters, Sarah Tucker (Cale) of Greer, South Carolina and Kristen P. Youngblood of Greer, South Carolina; five grandchildren, Austin Tucker (McKenzi), Lane Tucker (Caylee), Brysen Tucker, London Bridges and Riley Smith; and two great-grandchildren, Case Tucker and Dansby Tucker. Mr. Youngblood was predeceased by a sister, Pamela Youngblood Drake. A Celebration of Life will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, October 4, 2025, at 1498 Brockman McClimon Road Greer, South Carolina, conducted by Mr. Bruce Bridges. Visitation will be held after the service. Pallbearers will be Cale Tucker, Shane Stanley, Austin Tucker, Lane Tucker, Brysen Tucker and Ben Kimbrell. The family will be at the home. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Wounded Warriors P.O. Box 758516 Topeka, Kansas 66675-8516 or St. Judes 501 St. Jude’s Place Memphis, TN 38105.
