Rhonda Moore Obituary

Rhonda Nelson Moore Duncan, SC Rhonda Nelson Moore, 69, passed away on August 31, 2025. Born in Spartanburg, she was the daughter of Betty Delores Knighton Nelson and the late John David Nelson and the wife of Larry R. Moore. Rhonda retired as Preschool Teacher from Reidville Road Readiness Center Preschool and was a member of Duncan Church of Christ. Survivors also include her daughter, Amanda Mills, and husband, Shane; a son, Brandon Moore; two brothers, Lamar Nelson and his wife, Angie and Stanley Nelson; and eight grandchildren, Kelsey Mills, Kaley Mills, Kinsley Mills, Draysen Mills, Divinity Mills, Sarah Nance, Rachel Nance and Andrew Nance. She was predeceased by her late husband, Joe Nance; her son, Chad Nance; and a brother, Keith Nelson. Graveside services will be held at 11 AM, on Thursday, September 04, 2025, at Duncan Church of Christ Cemetery with Minister Daniel Koen officiating. The family will receive friends after the service. Memorials may be made to Duncan Church of Christ PO Box 728 Duncan, SC 29334. The family is at the home of her daughter, Amanda Mills.
