Phillip Brannon Obituary

Mr. Phillip Earl Brannon, 82, of Anderson, SC, passed peacefully at his home on January 27, 2021. Phil was also a long-time resident of Martinsburg, WV. He was born April 18, 1938 to the late Ronald and Elva Brannon in Cumberland, MD.

Phil was an Air Force Veteran, a member of the Free Masons, the Knights of Pythias, the Coast Guard Auxiliary, and a lifetime member of the United Methodist Church, locally he attended Alters Gate in Greenwood, SC and Latimer Memorial in Belton, SC.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Nancy Lee, his children, Mary Wittgen (Jeff) of Warsaw, VA, Brenda Sue Wasson of Cumberland, MD, Debra Kennedy (Jeff) of Hudson, FL, Meg Samples (Scottie) of Johns Island, SC, David Brannon (Tanya) of Greenville, SC, 8 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his first wife Judith, one daughter, Janice Lenore Brannon, and one grandchild.

No services will be held at this time. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you please make a donation to your local food bank, animal shelter, or homeless shelter.
