Paul Fazzone Obituary

Paul David Fazzone, 62, of Woodruff, SC passed away on October 14, 2025. Born in New Haven, Connecticut on June 21, 1963, Paul was the beloved son of Lorraine Conroy and Marshall Nicholas Fazzone. He is survived by his devoted wife of 39 years, Gail Fazzone; his three sons, Paul, Brian, and Nicholas Fazzone; and his five grandchildren; aunt Deborah Fazzone; sister-in- law, Cheryl Manginella; nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews, who brought him endless joy. He is also remembered fondly by extended family all over, countless friends around the world, and all who were fortunate enough to know him. For over 45 years, Paul literally built his life with his hands and heart. A gifted builder, carpenter, and tradesman, he was admired for his rare ability to create anything and fix everything. He was a creative problem-solver, thoughtful teacher, and an incredibly hard worker. His craftsmanship and integrity touched homes, workplaces, and communities across the years. But Paul's true legacy was his generosity of spirit. He embodied service and kindness, never hesitating to help a neighbor, friend, or stranger in need. His life was guided by compassion, humility, and the belief that everyone deserved a helping hand or a second chance. He extended this attitude to animals, adopting and caring for multiple dogs and cats over the years, all of which he loved dearly. His acts of servitude left an indelible mark on the world. Paul found joy in the simple and enduring pleasures of life like building muscle cars, jeeps, and slot cars, as well as fishing, boating and, above all, spending time with his family. He was immensely proud of his children, who in turn shared a deep and abiding respect for the man who raised them. Paul will be remembered as an extraordinary husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He was a man of great skill, humor, and love. His presence will forever remain with those who knew and loved him, and he will be missed dearly. There will be a visitation for family and friends to gather on Sunday, October 19, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Homes, Downtown in Greenville, SC.
