Patricia Koontz Obituary
Patricia Diane Breeback Koontz, 70, of 5102 Three Springs Trail passed away Thursday, March 5, 2026, at Prisma Health Greenville Memorial Hospital.
She was born August 11, 1955, in Greenville County to the late Ernest Edward Breeback and Ellen Turner Breeback and was the widow of Michael Lynn Koontz. She was a retired Communications Tec with Verizon.
Surviving are two sons, Jonathan Michael Koontz (Anna Wilson Koontz) of Kings Mountain, North Carolina and Travis Edward Koontz of Greenville; one brother, Jack Breeback (Marilyn) of Lavonia, Georgia; one grandson, Aiden James Edwards. She was predeceased by a sister, Sheryl Lynn Hinton and a brother, Clarence Edward Breeback.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 11, 2026, at Lanford-Gwinn Mortuary Chapel officiated by Rev. Jonathan Knight.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. prior to the service.
The family is at their respective homes.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Greenville Humane Society, 305 Airport Road, Greenville, S.C. 29607 www.greenvillehumane.com
