Pat Pulley Obituary
Patsy Vera "Pat", 81, widow of James Pulley, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, August 7, 2025.
Mrs. Pulley was born in Greenville, SC to the late Paul Culbertson and Mamie Lee Robertson Culbertson.
She was a member of Gray Court Church of God. Pat retired after 30 years serving as a Certified Nursing Assistant with Marth Franks Nursing Home and in-home healthcare. Prior to receiving her CNA, she worked 28 years at Stone Manufacturing in Greenville. Pat also worked alone side her daughter and son-in-law at their restaurant, Backstreet Diner. Pat wore many hats, including designing floral arrangements, decorating and catering meals for weddings. Pat was a hardworking, dedicated woman. An angel here on earth for many- the first to volunteer, and the first to make sure everyone was cared for. Pat often started conversations with strangers, ending with a prayer and a new friendship. She was full of life with her beautiful smile, great sense of humor, and sassy spirit. Pat had a special bond with her children and grandchildren that produced a lifetime of wonderful memories. There was continuous light hearted debates, voting and hand raises on who "the favorite" was. She loved her family greatly, and was so gracious of time spent with each. As an honorable mention from family- She did have a favorite, her son-in-law and angel on earth, Steve.
