Allen Stone Obituary

Allen R. Stone, 79, of Plymouth, WI, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on Thursday, September 18, 2025.

He was born on March 22, 1946 in Antigo, WI, to the late Evan and Mabel (Wendt) Stone. He graduated from Plymouth High School in 1964. He served in the Naval Reserve from 1963-1969. He was an honored and proud member of the American Legion, serving as President. On July 12, 1969, he married Patricia M. Olsson. Allen worked for Kohler Company as a draftsman for 11 years.

He lived a full life and displayed immense strength in everything he did. He was often found exploring his neighborhood and meeting new neighbors, riding his John Deere tractor or attending his grandchildren's events. He was often found sporting his favorite hoodie and baseball hat. Allen especially loved racing at Road American and became quite the traveler, he enjoyed trips to Georgia and Colorado. He was a gifted artist and loved all things car related, except for Fords.

Allen was a loving husband, father and grandfather. His family was important to him and he will forever be missed. He was a remarkable man who displayed humor and sass and kept those around him laughing.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia; two daughters, Carmen (Mark) Persaud and Jennifer (Matt) Klatkiewicz; four grandchildren, Brenna (Wyatt) Ellis, Bradley Schneider, Ellisen and Audyn Klatkiewicz; his sisters, Karen (Randy) Brehm and Kay (Melvin) Zimmermann; sisters and brothers-in-law, Judy (Jim) Fermanich, Linda (Mike) Olsson, Ginger (Sparrow) Resch, Jan Olsson, Tom, Bill, and Gary Olsson; special family friend, Mary McNally; special friend, Joellen; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Evan and Mabel Stone; mother and father-in-law, Kermit and Lorraine Olsson; brother, Calvin Stone; and brother-in-law, Jim Olsson.

Following Allen's wishes, there will be no visitation or services.

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donation to the Spinal Cord Injury/Disorder Center at the Milwaukee VA Medical Center.
