Naomi Anderson Obituary

Naomi Somero Anderson, 74, wife of the late Howard Frederick Anderson, passed away September 16, 2025. A native of Peterborough, New Hampshire, daughter of the late Levi Matti and Edith Helen Honkala Somero, she was a homemaker and a member of Eastside Apostolic Lutheran Church. Surviving are three daughters, Missy Lampinen Maki (Erick) of Greer, South Carolina, Mandy Kinnunen (Randy) of Belleview, Florida, and Jill Kinnunen (Jesse) of Taylors, South Carolina; two sons, Matt Anderson (Tara) of Greer, South Carolina and Mike Anderson (Ashlee) of Wasilla, Alaska; three sisters, Kathy Hakala (Bob) of New Ipswich, New Hampshire, JoAnne Aho (Arvi) Greer, South Carolina, and Sue Hilman of Taylors, South Carolina; fifteen grandchildren, Makaela Pruitt (Caleb), Trent Lampinen (Emily), Olivia Hutcherson (Noah), Shaina Stenersen (Wesley), Kevin Kinnunen, Sam Kinnunen, Hannah Kinnunen, Paige Whitted (Tristan), Shaun Kinnunen, Owen Kinnunen, Brooke Kinnunen, Ella Anderson, Kirra Anderson, Ty Anderson, and Cruz Holombo; and four great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a brother, Ronald Somero. Funeral services will be held 3:00 p.m. Monday, September 22, 2025, at Eastside Apostolic Lutheran Church conducted by Pastor Dan Hoard, Pastor Bob Hakala, and Pastor Arvi Aho. Burial will follow in the Mountain View Cemetery. Visitation will be held 1:00-3:00 p.m. Monday, September 22, 2025, at Eastside Apostolic Lutheran Church. Pallbearers will be Matt Anderson, Mike Anderson, Trent Lampinen, Shaun Kinnunen, Kevin Kinnunen, and Sam Kinnunen. Honorary escorts will be Jesse Kinnunen, Randy Kinnunen, Tristan Whitted, Wesley Stenersen, Erick Maki, and Owen Kinnunen. The family will be at the home of her daughter, Missy Lampinen Maki.
