Nancy Hoover Obituary

Nancy C. Pletcher Hoover, 81, went home to be with Jesus on August 20, 2025. A native of Elkhart, Indiana, daughter of the late Morris F. and Lucille Risser Pletcher, she attended Randall House Church. Surviving are her husband of 60 years, Marshall William "Willie" Hoover of the home; a son, Doug Hoover (Karen) of Greer; grandchildren, Rebekah Hoover Patterson (Sierra) of Greensboro, North Carolina and Daniel Hoover of Travelers Rest; a brother, Dale I. Pletcher (Glenna) of Goshen, Indiana; and a sister-in-law, Debra Pletcher of Warsaw, Indiana. Mrs. Hoover was predeceased by a brother, Harold E. Pletcher. The family would like to extend their gratitude to Patriot Hospice Care and the many caregivers who assisted with Mrs. Hoover over the years. Funeral services will be held 4:00 p.m. Sunday, August 24, 2025, at The Wood Mortuary Chapel conducted by Dr. Paul Dean with webcasting available. Visitation will be held 2:30-3:45 p.m. Sunday, August 24, 2025, at The Wood Mortuary. Memorials may be made to American Parkinsons Disease Association, PO Box 61420, Staten Island, New York 10306.
