Nadine Holmes Obituary

Mary "Nadine" Henderson Holmes, 88, wife of the late Arlie Felix Holmes, passed away September 24, 2025. A native of Saltville, Virginia, daughter of the late Grover Cleveland and Cora Lee Davis Henderson, she was a member of Reidville First Baptist Church. Surviving are two sons, Arlie "Landy" Holmes, of Hawaii and Gregg A. Holmes of Duncan; a daughter, Kathy Cox (Terry) of Duncan; a brother, Arthur Henderson of Bristol, Virginia; and five grandchildren, Brent, Heather, Brittany, Courtney, and Madison; and nine great-grandchildren, Peyton, Haven, Dixon, Lilly, Paisley, Hank, Juniper, Jaxten, and Kaylee. Mrs. Holmes was predeceased by two sons-in-law, Ronnie Frye and Michael Cox; four brothers, Thomas Henderson, Clarence Henderson, Carlos Henderson and Grover Cleveland Henderson; and a sister, Nancy Duff. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 27, 2025, at The Wood Mortuary Chapel, conducted by Rev. Ricci Allen with webcasting available. Burial will follow in Wood Memorial Park.
