Morris Davis Obituary

Morris Dean Davis, 78, husband of the late Sandra Davis, passed away August 16, 2025. A native of Spartanburg County, son of the late Junior and Barbara Davis, he was a United States Army veteran, and a retired Manager from Hoechst Celanese. Above all else he was a loving husband, outstanding father and Bop. He was a remarkable man who was a proud member of Liberty Hill United Methodist Church. Additionally, he was a cherished member of his community and will be missed by all who knew him. Surviving are three daughters, Mandy Davis of the home, Micki Davis of Greer, and Krissy Davis of Taylors, one sister, Linda Gail Johnson (Tommy) of Greenville; and four grandchildren, Breonna, Samara, Tinley, and Remi. He was predeceased by a sister, Shelby Davis. A funeral service will be held 12:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 20, 2025, at Liberty Hill United Methodist Church, conducted by Rev. Nelson Stokes. Burial will follow in Wood Memorial Park with Military Honors. Visitation will be held 10:30 until 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, August 20, 2025, at Liberty Hill United Methodist Church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Liberty Hill United Methodist Church General Fund, 301 Liberty Hill Road, Greer, SC 29651. Online condolences may be made to www.thewoodmortuary.com.
