Lewis Montgomery "Monty" Reece, 53, passed away July 28, 2025. A native of Dallas, Texas, son of the late Lewis Carter and Patricia Estelle Montgomery Reece. Surviving are his wife, Gala Reece of the home; his sister, Holly Reece of Greer, South Carolina; two nieces, Kyndal Reece and Kidman Reece both of Greer, South Carolina; and father-in-law and mother-in-law, Stephen and Renni Mickle. A visitation will be held 2:00-4:00 p.m. Saturday, August 2, 2025, at The Wood Mortuary. The family will be at their respective homes. Monty had a lifelong love for all animals. In lieu of flowers, if you wish, memorial donations can be made to: Fur-Ever Home Animal Rescue of North Carolina, where he found his beloved dog, Anja, or any local animal rescue of your choice.
