It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Miguel A. Perez, a devoted husband, father, grand father and great-grandfather who left us on September 23, 2025 at the age of 76.
Born on May 21, 1949 in Lares Puerto Rico, he lived a life rooted in love, family, and integrity. For 54 years, he was the loving and faithful husband of Maria P. Perez, and together they built a home filled with laughter, devotion, and unwavering support for one another. He was a proud and caring father to his daughters, Esmeralda Bermudez (Avisail Bermudez) and Miriam Olivero (Luis Olivero). To them, he was not only a guiding light but also a constant reminder of what it means to put family first. His love extended warmly to their spouses, whom he welcomed as his own children. As a grandfather, he poured his heart into his grandchildren, sharing with them the same kindness, wisdom, and unconditional love that defined his life. Beyond his family, he was admired by friends and all who had the privilege of knowing him. His generosity, gentle humor, and selflessness left a lasting impact on everyone he met.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Maria P. Perez; his daughters and sons-in-law, Esmeralda Bermudez & Avisail Bermudez, Miriam Olivero & Luis Olivero; his treasured grandchildren, Jennifer M. Olivero, Benjamin Quiñones, Catrina Arroyo (Joshua), Avisail Bermudez, Bianca N. Olivero, Tiziana Olivero & Briana Olivero; his adoring great-grandchildren, Sophia E. Quiñones, Logan Colon , Chase B. Quiñones, Miguel Arroyo, Matthew Arroyo, Madison Arroyo and Juliana N. Carson; his siblings, Jose M. Perez (Esther) from San Sebastián PR, Jose L. Perez (Carmen) from Mayaguez PR, Angel Perez (Maria) from Vineland NJ, Juan Perez (Irma) from Vineland NJ and his only sister, Carmen Perez from Vineland NJ and many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will be received from 10:00am until 12:00pm followed but a funeral mass at 12:00pm at Our Lady of The Blessed Sacrament Parish, St. Michael's Church 504 S. W. Ave., Minotola, NJ. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to
American Stroke Association.
Though our hearts are broken, we find comfort in knowing that his love and legacy will live on in his wife, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and all who loved him.
