Mickey Easler Obituary

Michael G. "Mickey" Easler WOODRUFF- Michael Gregory "Mickey" Easler,80, of 756 Three Wood Lane, Three Pines went home to be with the Lord, Friday, July 25, 2025, at Upstate Community Hospice House. He was born August 20, 1944, in Spartanburg County to the late Clarence Herring "Preach" Easler and Janie Louise Gregory Easler. He was a member of Antioch Baptist Church where he was a Deacon, taught Sunday School for over 50 years and was a member of the Fellowship II Sunday School Class. Mickey was an avid golfer and member of Three Pine's Country Club. Mickey was a truck driver for many years and retired from Walmart. Surviving is his wife, Johnnie Smith Thrift Easler of the home; one daughter, Angie Watson (Billy) of Tigerville; sisters, Patricia Jane Easler, Stephanie E. Bailey, Mary E. Persky, Deirdre E. Garrett and Sylvia E. Currier; brother: James M. Easler; 2 grandchildren, Billy Watson (Julie) and John Michael Watson; 3 great-grandchildren, Emma Kate Watson, Benji Watson and Charlie Watson. He is also survived by his fur baby, Cooper. He was first married to the late Texas Cabe Easler. He was predeceased by a sister, Sandra Suzanne Boghani; brothers, William R. Easler and Samuel R. Easler. Funeral services will be held Monday, July 28, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Antioch Baptist Church by Rev. Danny Garrett and Rev. Heyward Calvert. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. prior to the service. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Antioch Baptist Church, 13683 Highway 221, Enoree, S.C. 29335.
