Mary St. Pierre Obituary

Mary Louise St. Pierre, 88, of Simpsonville, widow of the late Raymond Edward St. Pierre, died Saturday, May 16, 2025, at Prisma Health Greenville Memorial Hospital.
Born on August 20, 1936, in Livermore Falls, Maine, she was a daughter of the late William and Fedora Marceau.
Mary Louise lived a remarkable life defined by her passion for education and the enduring love for her family. She dedicated her career to teaching French, inspiring countless students with her enthusiasm for the language and culture.
She and her beloved Raymond raised their family and spent many years in Maine. Desiring to leave the harsh winters behind, they retired to Florida, then to South Carolina, most recently residing in Simpsonville. She was a member of St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church.
She is survived by her devoted daughters Marcia Godbout (David) and Michelle Martin (Bill); her sons, Marc St. Pierre and Paul St. Pierre (Lisa). Mary also leaves behind numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who will carry forward her spirit and values.
A visitation will be held on Monday, May 19, 2025, at 10:30 a.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Homes, Southeast. A memorial service will follow at 11:00 a.m.
Mary Louise St. Pierre will be remembered not only for her contributions to education but also for her love, kindness, and the warmth she shared with family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of one's choice.
