Mary Alice Watson Shillingburg, 86, passed away on Tuesday, April 07, 2026. Born in Duncan, she was the daughter of the late Early and Willie Mae Hardin Watson and the wife of the late Franklin Delano Shillingburg. She was retired from American Greetings, previously worked at CVS stores and was a homemaker. Mary was a lifetime member of Startex Wesleyan Church, where she served as the pianist for over fifty years, was a Sunday School teacher, helped with VBS and served on the church board. She also attended Duncan First Baptist Church.

Survivors include two sons, Michael Shillingburg and wife, KathyAnn and Dennis Shillingburg; a daughter, Tena Hendrix; two brothers, William Kent Watson and Fred Alton Watson; seven grandchildren, Candace Segers, ReAnna Pearson and husband, Matt, Blake Segers and wife, Becca, Marissa Bagwell and husband, Camden, Dustin Segers and wife, Allishia and Ciara Maschke and husband, Chris; and nine great-grandchildren, Matty, Carlee, Landon, Anna, Jason, Issac, Samuel, Macey and Hannah. She was predeceased by a son, Randy Shillingburg; a daughter, Myra Seger; and a brother, Charles "Ed" Watson.

Funeral services will be held at 3:15PM on Sunday, April 12, 2026 at Stribling Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Larry Segers, Rev. Preston Edmonds and Rev. James Shetley officiating. The family will receive friends from 2PM until 3PM prior to the service.

Interment will be held at Hillcrest Memory Gardens.
