Vickie Phillips Obituary

Vickie Sue Phillips, 68, of Manchester, TN, passed away on March 8, 2025. She was born on January 22, 1957, in Manchester, TN, to the late Marvin and Belle Farrar. Vickie was also preceded in death by her beloved cousin, Lisa Swan.
Vickie was a kind and loving woman, known for her warmth, caring nature, and devotion to her family and friends. She is survived by her daughter, Fara Mullins, and son-in-law, Scott; her cherished granddaughter, Anna Belle Mullins; close cousins Donnie Farrar and his wife Gail, and Brandon Harmon and his wife Lili; her best friend Josephine Smith; and many other extended family members and friends who were very dear to her.
Vickie enjoyed the simple pleasures of life, including watching and feeding birds with her best friend Josephine, chatting on the phone and Facebook with loved ones, and tending to her beautiful summer flower garden. She found great joy in spending time at home with her family and friends and attending Summitville Fellowship Church.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Manchester Funeral Home on Friday, March 14, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. The funeral home is located at 786 McMinnville Hwy, Manchester, TN. In lieu of flowers, the family encourages donations to be made to the Humane Society and Animal Control in Manchester in honor of Vickie. The family invites all who knew and loved her to join in remembering her life and the lasting impact she had on everyone she met.
