Mary Bedell Obituary

Mary Elizabeth Bedell, 93 of Whitehall passed away peacefully on October 23, 2025. Born and raised in Queens, New York she was the daughter of the late John and Mary (Gough) Traendly.
She was the wife of the late Edwin John Bedell with whom she shared 29 years of marriage prior to his passing in 1990.
Mary was a graduate of Stella Maris High School class of 1950. She worked various office jobs over the years.
She volunteered her time while residing in Florida and with the Refugee Assistance Program in Allentown. Mary enjoyed reading, movies (especially film noir) and traveling with many memorable trips to Europe.
She is survived by her daughter Jennifer and son Michael Bedell and his wife Kathy all of Long Island and her daughter Elizabeth and her husband Alan of Danielsville. She was predeceased by her parents and her brother James H. Traendly.
There will be a memorial visitation on Thursday, October 30, 2025, from 11 a.m. – 12 pm at Brubaker Funeral Home, Inc., 327 Chestnut St., Coplay. A funeral service will follow in the parlor at 12pm.
