Mark McCann Obituary

Mark Andrew McCann, 44, husband of Antronet Michelle Culley, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, August 14, 2025. Mr. McCann was born in Birmingham, AL to the late John David Long and Cyluria Jean Bodenheimer Long. He was a member of Clear Spring Baptist Church. Mark loved camping, hiking, and fishing with his wife and son. He was passionate about his career in the auto collision industry, starting as a body tech, later becoming an automotive painter, and eventually General Manager of the shop where he loved being a mentor to many. He was an avid collector of Air Jordan tennis shoes. Mark loved coaching his son along with other athletes. Coaching football at the Riverview Raiders Athletic Club where he and his wife also served on the board for many years was a huge highlight in his life. Being a part of his community always held a special place in his heart. Surviving, in addition to his wife, is a son, Ayden Suggs. A celebration of Mark's life will begin at 3 o'clock Thursday at Clear Spring Baptist Church, officiated by Pastor David Shiflet. The family will receive friends following the service. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Memorials in Mark's honor may be made to Clear Spring Baptist Church, 301 Bethany Road, Simpsonville, SC 29681.
