Marion Wood Obituary
A native of Greer, SC, son of the late Charlton and Janie Waddell Wood, he was a Veteran of the South Carolina Army National Guard, retired from Carotell Paper, and of the Methodist faith.
Surviving are his wife of 63 years, Dale Atkins Wood, of Greer; two daughters, Stacy Owens (Johnny) of Waterloo, South Carolina and Mechelle Rozema of Columbia, South Carolina, a son Brandon Wood (Karina) of Spartanburg, South Carolina; and six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Mr. Wood was predeceased by a sister, Jane Millwood.
A Cryptside service will be held 2:00 pm Friday, January 2, 2026, at Hillcrest Memory Gardens Mausoleum by Rev. Joe Price.
Visitation will be held 12:30-1:30 p.m. Friday, January 2, 2026, at The Wood Mortuary.
The family will be at their respective homes.
