Nació el 16 de Abril de 1942 en Bogota Colombia.Su padres Rafael Lozano y Maria Gomez.Irlanda dedicó su vida a trabajar incansablemente y cuidar a su familia.
A temprana edad reconoció a Jesucristo como su Señor y Salvador recibiendo a través de su salvación el don de servicio por el cual muchos fueron bendecidos,no solo en el día a día si no también en circunstancias difíciles de la vida.
Cantar alabanzas al Señor y leer la Biblia memorizando capítulos completos fueron sus grandes deleites.
Se destacó por ser muy brillante en las matemáticas y excelente ortografía además de una envidiable escritura.En sus primeros años laborales fue una mujer de negocios.
Le encantaba viajar y cocinar los fines de semana para compartir con la familia.Además de ser una abuela consentidora fue también una madre dedicada a orar por sus hijos constantemente.Hoy deja un gran vacío en las vidas de quienes le conocieron y en su familia un sentimiento encontrado de tristeza por su partida y gozo al mismo tiempo por que ya está en casa con nuestro Padre Celestial.Para quien es toda la Honra y toda la Gloria Siempre.
Le sobreviven sus hijos Hector Fabio Rodriguez,Juan Ernesto Rodriguez.Sus hijas Nancy Rubi Rodriguez,Ana Orquidea Rodriguez. Sus nietos Vanessa Franco,Juan Gabriel Rodriguez,Deave Rodriguez,Johan Fernando Rodriguez,Daniela Rodriguez,Julie Andrea Rodriguez,John Antony Rodriguez,Laura Alejandra Beltran,
Fabian Esteban Martinez,Gonzalo Vera, Andrea Vera y Bisnietos.
