Mable Sims Tinsley Obituary

Mable Eugenia Sims Tinsley, a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, who departed this life on January 13, 2026, at the age of 92. Born in Greenville County, SC, she was the last surviving child of nine children, to the late Melvin Eugene Sims and Ethel Jane Thompson Sims.
Mable was a lifelong resident of Greenville, where she dedicated her life to her family and the warmth of her home and her church. She was a very active member of Tremont Church of God. Mable and her husband, Joel, loved to travel the world and spent over 30 wonderful years together.
She is survived by her son, Ronnie Tinsley (Scherrie); Christopher Tinsley and Jessica Fulcer; a beloved great-granddaughter; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 9:45 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. on Friday, January 16, 2026, at Tremont Church of God, in the Family Life Center. The funeral will follow at 11:00 a.m., at the church, also in the Family Life Center. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery West.
