Louise G. Wood WOODRUFF- Louise Godfrey Wood,89, of 2771 Highway 417 went home to be with the Lord, Tuesday, August 26, 2025, at her home on the same day as her late husband, Thomas Oneal Wood on August 26, 2014. They are now together forever in Heaven. She was born August 7, 1936, in Spartanburg County to the late Carl Lanford and Tinnie Chesney Lanford. She was a member of Bellview Baptist Church and a retired employee with Enro Shirt Company formerly in Woodruff. Surviving is one daughter, Dora Evans (Wayne) of Woodruff; one son, Tommy Wood of Woodruff; 3 grandchildren, April Perry (Jacob), Lee Peace (Sandy) and Tyler Wood (Chloe Godinez); 6 great-grandchildren, Cohen Perry, Caden Perry, Carson Peace, Jesse Brooks, Hunter Peace and Silas Snow. She was predeceased by a grandson, Andrew Snow. Funeral services will be held Friday, August 29, 2025, at 12:00 p.m. at Bellview Baptist Church officiated by Rev. Carey Caldwell and Rev. Tim Huckaby. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. prior to the service in the church sanctuary. Serving as pallbearers, Lee Peace, Tyler Wood, Cohen Perry, Caden Perry, Jacob Perry, Hunter Peace and Carson Peace. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Bellview Baptist Church Building Fund, 901 Bellview Road, Woodruff, S.C. 29388 The family is at the residence. Lanford-Gwinn Mortuary
