Louis Harper Obituary

Dr. Louis Keith Harper, 67, passed away April 23, 2025. A native of Jeffersonville, Indiana, son of the late Vic and Nell Brown Harper, he was a retired seminary professor and Baptist minister, and a member of Greer First Baptist. Surviving are his wife, Johnnie Hisel Harper of the home; a son, David A. Harper (Alexa) of Greer; a sister, Betty Harper of New Albany, Indiana; and a nephew, Troy Paris (Karla) of Sellersburg, Indiana. Funeral services will be held 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 29, 2025, at Greer First Baptist conducted by Dr. Doug Mize. Burial will be held 11:30 a.m. Saturday, May 3, 2025, in Blue Grass Memorial Gardens, Nicholasville, Kentucky. Visitation will be held 1:30-2:45 p.m. Tuesday, April 29, 2025, will be at the church Welcome Center.
