Lindsey Nicole Case, 31, beloved daughter, wife, mother, and friend, tragically left this world on Monday, January 12, 2026.
Lindsey was born on March 16, 1994 in
Irving, Texas to Gary and Jill White. Lindsey's younger brother, Brad, was born on her birthday two years later, and the two were very close.
Lindsey was a happy child and her elementary and middle school years in Carrollton, Texas were filled with Indian Princess campouts, playing all kinds of sports, band and piano lessons, and church activities. She had many friends and just loved life.
Lindsey graduated from Hebron High School in the class of 2012. During her senior year, Lindsey led the Hebron Marching Band as Drum Major and was honored as the Homecoming Queen. In high school, one of Lindsey's favorite quotes was: "People may forget what you say or do, but they will always remember how you made them feel." Lindsey loved to make people feel special or encourage them when they needed comforting. She gave you a treat to show she cared and to make your day a little brighter.
She graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in 2016 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing. While at UT, Lindsey was a member of Texas Spirits and met some of her dearest friends here. Nursing was Lindsey's calling as it gave her an avenue to serve others. She was gifted to listen and show compassion to those in her care. When she graduated from the University, she began her nursing career in the Baylor Scott & White Hospital in Dallas in the Operating Room and worked as a Registered Nurse.
Lindsey married Jeff Case on January 18, 2020 in Van Alstyne, Texas in a rustic wedding venue. It was a true Texas wedding with brisket and fajitas. There were even longhorns in the pasture nearby. Lindsey and Jeff spent their early years together living in Dallas, Texas and spent most of their free time outside at White Rock Lake and going on traveling adventures around the Country.
In March of 2021, Jeff and Lindsey moved from Dallas, Texas to
Simpsonville, South Carolina. Lindsey continued nursing at the Prisma Health Laurens County Hospital in Labor & Delivery. Later on, Lindsey worked at the Surgery Center At Pelham.
Jeff and Lindsey have one child, Chloe Marie, born on September 6, 2024. Lindsey was a nurturing and loving mother. She wanted Chloe to know her extended family and made sure to FaceTime the grandparents on a regular basis. Nothing was more important to Lindsey than providing unconditional love to Chloe and giving her the best life she could possibly have.
Lindsey led a busy life as a Registered Nurse, mother, and wife but she made time for her hobbies. Lindsey always loved taking pictures of family and friends and her refrigerator is lined with her favorite polaroid snapshots. Lindsey loved hiking in the Carolina mountains and being outdoors. She also enjoyed running and completed three marathons and ran the Turkey Trot in Dallas and Asheville with her family several years.
Those who knew Lindsey would describe her priorities simply: Christian, Mommy, Wife, Daughter, Sister, Nurse, and unconditional friend. She lived each of these roles with intention, grace, and deep love for those around her.
Lindsey's parents are so proud of the legacy of faith and character that Lindsey has developed through her 31 years. It's been said that "it takes a village to raise a child". Lindsey's parents want to acknowledge and thank our friends and family that have nurtured, coached, mentored, and encouraged Lindsey throughout the years, as though she were your own. She's your Lindsey, too.
