She dearly loved her husband and their two children. She always made sure the kids were well dressed for school and had their lunch money tucked deep in their pants pocket. Linda also loved hot dogs and often asked "get me a good hot dog" from The Clock. Linda is survived her a son, James Cheek and wife, Sheila; a daughter, Pat Lyda and husband, George; three brothers, Bruce Ballew, Don Ballew and wife, Shirley, and Bobby Ballew. She was preceded in death by her sister, Shirley Harris. A graveside service will be held on Friday, September 19, 2025, at Cannon-Byrd Memorial Park beginning at 11:00 am.
