Lawrence Key Obituary

Larry Key Duncan, SC Lawrence Thurman Key, 72, passed away on August 25, 2025. Born in Newfound, Canada, he was the son of the late Thurman and Esther Marie Kraft Key and the husband of Joy Key. He was retired with Hearn Construction and was a veteran of the US Marine Corp having served in Vietnam. Survivors include one son, Jeremy; four daughters, Jesse, Lora, Shea and PJ Bennett; three sisters, Gail Wade Barnett and husband, Keith, Deloris Mabe and husband, John, and Lorraine Hearn; two brothers-in-law, Lex Wagner and John Brown; five grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, Steven Craig Key; and two sisters, Trena Brown and Cindy Wagner. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
