Larry Spivey Obituary

Larry Neal Spivey, 77, passed away September 15, 2025. Larry had a big heart, always willing to give to others as a true servant of God. A native of Columbia and the son of the late Neal and Lucille Spivey, he and his wife of 51 years, Sharon, served as marriage counselors and were devoted members of Covenant Church. Known for his kindness care and patience, he drew many people to Christ and leaves a lasting legacy of faith. Surviving are his wife, Sharon L. Spivey of the home; and a brother, William R. Spivey of Taylors. A celebration of life will be held 12:00 p.m. Friday, September 19, 2025, at Covenant Church conducted by Pastor Darren Hook and Pastor Mike Smith. Visitation will be held after the service in the welcome center of the church. Memorials may be made to Covenant Church Youth Ministry, 1310 Old Spartanburg Road, Greer, South Carolina 29650.
