Larry Sanders Obituary
A native of Greer, South Carolina, son of the late Billy Joe and Vera May Tucker Sanders, he was a member of Woods Chapel United Methodist Church and attended Emmauel Baptist Church. Larry has touched many lives with his sense of humor and overall uplifting character. He was a caring father to his two daughters, whom he loved deeply. He was wonderful husband to his wife of 36 years. He was a brave and strong man who loved the Lord proudly, who was a friend to all who knew him and will be greatly missed by everyone.
Surviving are his wife, Sharon Lynn Akins Sanders of the home; two daughters, Victoria Sanders of Greer and Jade Sanders of Anderson; and a grandson, Tucker.
Graveside services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 29, 2025, at Wood Memorial Park conducted by Rev. Dr. Shane Hull.
The family is at their respective homes.
Memorials may be made to Emmanuel Baptist Church, 423 S. Buncombe Road, Greer, South Carolina 29650.
