Kim Ballenger Obituary

Kim Belk Ballenger, 61, passed away October 17, 2025, surrounded by her loving family and friends. A native of Union, South Carolina, she was a daughter of Judy Duncan Belk of Union, South Carolina and the late James Willie Belk, Jr. Together with her husband, she owned and operated RSI Carolina, Inc., and was of the Methodist faith. Also surviving are her husband, Greg Ballenger of the home; two sons, Jeff Ballenger of Greer, South Carolina and Justin Ballenger (Nichole) of Landrum, South Carolina; a brother, Chris Belk (Doris) of Union, South Carolina; a sister, Rhonda Belk Seaver (Rick) of Clayton, Georgia; and a granddaughter, Emma Davis. A memorial service will be held 4:00 p.m. Sunday, October 26, 2025, at The Wood Mortuary Chapel conducted by Rev. Michael Cheatham with webcasting available at www.thewoodmortuary.com. Visitation will be held 2:00-3:45 p.m. Sunday, October 26, 2025, at The Wood Mortuary. The family is at the home.
