Katie Stewart Obituary

Katie Stewart, 31, of Easley, passed away Monday, May 5, 2025. Born in Easley, SC, she was the daughter of Gregory Stewart and Joyce Ann Harris Stewart. Katie was a member of Wren Baptist Church where she led the choir, taught Sunday School, worked in the children's dept., and directed Vacation Bible School. Katie was also a cherished toddler teacher at Great Adventures Learning Academy. In addition to her beloved parents, she is survived by her sister, Paige Stewart; grandfather, Tommy Harris; grandmother, Judy DeWeese; and many other beloved family members. She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Rebecca Harris; and grandfather, Jeff DeWeese. A visitation will be held Tuesday, May 13, 2025 from 12:00 p.m. until 1:45 p.m. at Wren Baptist Church followed by the funeral service at 2:00 p.m. Burial will be in Greenville Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Ovarian Cancer Research Alliance. Friends are encouraged to share their favorite memories of Katherine with the family by clicking on the button labeled "Share A Memory".
