Katherine S. Patton

Katherine Stone Patton,96, of 345 Five Forks Road, Simpsonville, formerly of Woodruff, went home to be with the Lord, Sunday, January 11, 2026.

She was born November 9, 1929, in Spartanburg County to the late Laura Stone and was the widow of Milton Kay Patton. She was a member of Northside Baptist Church in Woodruff and attended the First Baptist Church of Woodruff.

Surviving are four sons, Stuart Patton (Heather) of Mauldin, Marty Patton (Ann) of Lexington, S.C., Kevin Patton (Melissa) of Simpsonville and Mike Watts (Jeanne) of Greenville; nine grandchildren, Nash Patton, Jennifer Malone, Brittany Choi, Drew Patton, Justin Watts, Jeffrey Watts, Lena Patton, Nora Patton and Jackson Patton; six great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by three sisters, Rylene Mathis, O'Neal Craig and Judy Ruppe.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 17, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at Lanford-Gwinn Mortuary Chapel officiated by Rev. Andrew Shull. Interment will follow at Greenhaven Memorial Gardens.

Serving as pallbearers, Lenn Craig, Tab Patton, Butch Ruppe, Chad Patton, Mike Malone and David Choi.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church of Woodruff, 801 Cross Anchor Road, Woodruff, S.C. 29388.

The family is at their respective homes.
