Katherine Myers Obituary

Katherine Myers Duncan, SC Katherine Audrey Michel Myers, 68, passed away on Wednesday, September 24, 2025. Born in Hamilton, OH, she was the daughter of George and Paula Frei Michel and the wife of James Vernon Myers, Jr. for forty-one years. Katherine graduated with a Bachelor's Degree from UNC-Chapel Hill and retired with CMC and Associates as Vice President and Office Manager. She was a charter member of Church at The Mill. Survivors also include two sons, Dr. James Vernon Myers, III and his wife, Mandy and Matthew Spenser Myers and his wife, Pallavi; a daughter, Jacqueline Michel Myers Surett and her husband, Stephen; a sister, Chrystal Gannon and her husband, Jeff; a brother, George J. Michel, III and his wife, Susan, two sisters in laws, Mary Treadaway and her husband, Jack, Martha Tarlton and her husband, John; six grandchildren, Isabel Karla Myers, Avery Katherine Myers, Weston James Myers, Mohan James Myers, Mahaila Ramesh Myers and Jackson Alexander Surett; and a number of nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a nephew, Michael Gannon. Funeral services will be held at 2 PM, on Saturday, October 04, 2025, in The Chapel at The Church At the Mill with Dr. DJ Horton officiating. Visitation will be held from 12:30 pm - 1:45 PM, prior to the service.
