Karon Dodson Wellford, SC Karon Dodson Wellford, SC Karon Flowers Dodson, passed away on Saturday, August 30, 2025. Born in Spartanburg, she was the daughter of the late Claude Thomas and Evelyn Kyle Flowers and the wife of William Gary Dodson. She was a homemaker and a member of Mt. Calvary Church. Survivors also include three daughters, Renee Moody and her husband, Ronnie, Cheryl Price and Diane Miller and her husband, Scott; a son, Russell Dodson and wife, Dawn; a sister, Mary Jo Flowers; a grandchild, Jordan Moody; a step grandson, Austin Moody and his wife, Mary (Starr); and her furry friend, Lucky. She was predeceased by two sisters, Martha McCullough and Brenda Flowers; and her furry friends, Badger, Missy, Rena and Chrissy. Funeral services will be held at 1PM on Thursday, September 04, 2025 at Stribling Funeral Home with Rev. Sonny Bright and Rev. Wayne Pearson officiating. The family will receive friends from 12PM until 1PM prior to the service. Interment will be held at Westwood Memorial Gardens.
