Karen Quinn Lawson Hughes, 80, passed away on Wednesday, June 11, 2025. Born in Spartanburg, she was the daughter of the late Theodore "Ted" Lee and Margaret Bishop Quinn and the wife of the late Audrey Lawson and James David Hughes.
Survivors include her son Jeffrey Wood; a sister, Joanne Powell; a sister-in-law, Myrt Quinn; two nieces, Susan Curnane (Chet) and Cathy Felmet (Kip); a nephew, Ted Quinn (Joni); a number of great-nieces and nephews, including Leigh West (Josh); a granddaughter, Ginger Wood; and many special friends, including Brenda Williams. She was predeceased by her brother, Ted Larry Quinn; and a brother-in-law, Geddis Powell.
Per her wishes, no services will be held.
