Julianne Marie "Julie" Brysacz Burgess was born in
Cleveland, Ohio on September 17, 1968, weighing 4lbs. 10 oz. She was a fighter from the beginning. Julianne had a love of people and a love for God. From childhood, she loved to sing, and her voice always had a warm, musical quality. Julie was quick to smile and laugh and spread goodwill wherever she could.
Julie loved to help people and had an adventurous spirit. Her love for helping people led her to pursue a degree and career in Speech Pathology, which she enjoyed for many years. Julie's adventurous spirit led to her working in South Korea as a school teacher and trips from Alaska to Europe. She combined these two passions by moving to South Carolina as an energy spiritual advisor. She moved to Ladson, South Carolina and worked at The Winchester Spa and Salon where she blossomed under the guidance of the owner, Dyana Winchester. We must note that for twenty years Julie had her beloved puppy, Beau, by her side through all these adventures!
After a few years, Julianne was seeking more time with family and asked her cousin Laura if she could come live with her in
Greer, South Carolina. It was a happy "Yes!" Julie moved in July 2025. Their days together were very special, filled with fun holidays and outings. She worked for Spectrum where her coworkers became like family. Julie went to be with the Lord with her cousin Laura and Laura's great granddaughter little Piper on April 2 when a house fire took their lives.
Julianne is survived by her loving parents William and Suzanne Brysacz and her brother William Brysacz, Jr. She was preceded in death by her older sister, Stephanie Anne Brysacz, in 2020.
Julianne made an impact on the world, more than she ever knew. Julie will be in our hearts forever.
