Judith Hines Obituary

Judith Ann Hines, 81, loving wife of Raymond Martin Hines, Jr., passed away on Saturday, October 4, 2025. Born on September 8, 1944, in New Rochelle, NY, Judith was the daughter of the late Frank J. and Grace Williams DiSalle. Throughout her life, Judith was known for her caring spirit and dedication to nursing. She spent her early career in the emergency room and later at a nursing home, before going back to school to earn her Master's degree in nursing. Her passion for helping others truly made a difference in the lives of many patients. She would go on to retire as the Director of Nursing at the King Street Nursing Home in Rye, NY. Judith is survived by her loving husband, Raymond, and their two children, Mary Garnett and Marty Hines (Vanessa), step- daughters Renee Hines and Jennifer Hines as well 9 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren, sister, Carol Luke and brother Jimmy DiSalle. She leaves behind cherished memories and countless stories that will forever be a part of her family's legacy. Judith will be deeply missed by all who knew her, but her warmth and compassion will live on in the hearts of her family and friends. Judith Ann was preceded in death by: Frank J. DiSalle (father), Grace DiSalle (mother), Frankie DiSalle (brother) and Tammy Jean Hines (step- daughter). A visitation will be held Friday, October 10, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. until 2:15 p.m., followed by a funeral service at 2:30 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Homes, Downtown.
