Juanita Caldwell Obituary

Sarah Juanita Edwards Caldwell, 93, wife of the late Warren E. Caldwell, passed away at her home on October 12, 2025. She was born December 8, 1931, in Spartanburg, South Carolina, to the late Charles Nathan Edwards, Sr. and Dorothy Mae Case Edwards. Mrs. Caldwell was a woman of service to her family, her church, and her neighbors. She was a member of Airport Baptist Church in Greer for 50 years, where she was a teacher and church clerk for 10 years. Mrs. Caldwell is survived by daughters, Vicki Craigo (Gary) of Seneca, South Carolina, and Debra Caldwell (formerly Henderson) of Fountain Inn, South Carolina; a son, Michael Caldwell (Melanie) of Anderson, South Carolina; seven grandchildren, Angela Craigo, Kyle Craigo (Tara), Tyler Caldwell, Serah Caldwell, Michael Joseph Henderson (Teresa), Jason Henderson, and Brian Henderson (Jude); and ten great-grandchildren. We love you, Nona. Until we meet again, we will hold you in our hearts and thank God for the beautiful life you lived. She was predeceased by brothers, Charles Edwards, Jr., William Edwards, and Kenneth Edwards, sister, Dorothy McGinn, and fiancé, Carl Austin. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, October 16, 2025, at The Wood Mortuary, 300 West Poinsett Street, Greer, South Carolina with webcasting available. A private burial will be held in Graceland East Memorial Park. Visitation will be held 10:00-10:45 a.m. Thursday, October 16, 2025, at The Wood Mortuary.
