Juan Caballero Obituary

Juan Vicente Caballero, 75, passed away October 30, 2025. A native of El Salvador, a son of the late Jesus Valencia and Porfiria Caballero, he was a member of Morningside Baptist Church Spanish Ministry. Surviving are his wife, Judith Johnson Caballero; a daughter, Elena McCart (Michael); a son, John Caballero; two brothers, Manuel Caballero and Luis Caballero both of El Salvador; a sister, Maria Del Carmen Hernandez of El Salvador; and two grandchildren, Alexander and Eliana. He was predeceased by his brother, Avilio, and two sisters, Mercedes and Victoria. Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday, November 9, 2025, at Morningside Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Timothy Hendricks and Rev. Todd Jones. Visitation will be held at 6:00 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. Saturday, November 8, 2025, at The Wood Mortuary.
