Joseph Vilardo Obituary

Joseph Francis Vilardo, age 88, of Greenville, SC went home to be with the Lord on Monday, April 13, 2026.

He was born March 28, 1938, in Jamestown, NY, the son of the late Joseph James Vilardo and Teresa Raymond Vilardo.

Joseph (Joe) proudly served his country in the United State Army Reserve. He graduated from the University of Buffalo and went on to an extremely successful career in banking sales. He enjoyed traveling, reading, golfing, and spending time with his family.

Joseph is survived by one daughter, Michelle (Vilardo) Campbell (Chace Campbell) of Greenville, SC; two sons, Joseph James Vilardo (Estrel Vilardo) of Marietta, GA and John Vilardo of Ocala, FL; four grandchildren, Alexandria (Dender) Jones (Nathan Jones), Logan Dender, Amanda (Schiltz) Blotz (Geoffrey Blotz), and Adam Vilardo, along with five great grandchildren and many other family and friends who will sadly miss him.

In lieu of a funeral or flowers, the family was asked, by him, to take a trip to Vilardo Vineyard's in Westfield, NY, where he grew up and return him there to rest in peace. This, we believe, would be the best tribute to his extraordinary life.
