Johnny Flynn Obituary

John "Johnny" Thomas Flynn, 79, husband of Nancy Stewart Flynn, passed away Wednesday, October 1, 2025, at his home. He was born in Greenville, South Carolina, to the late Thomas and Larrett Morgan Flynn on January 15, 1946. He was a U.S. Army Veteran, the owner of Johnny Flynn's Plumbing and a member of Calvary Baptist Church of Greer, South Carolina. In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Richie Flynn (Pam) of Greer and their daughter, Aly Flynn, and Ken Flynn (Rhoda) of Duncan and their children, Eric and Hailey Flynn. Mr. Flynn was predeceased by his infant son, Eric Travis Flynn, a sister, Susan Trusty, and a brother, Jackie Flynn. Visitation will be held 6:00-8:00 p.m. Saturday, October 4, 2025, at The Wood Mortuary. Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday, October 5, 2025, at Calvary Baptist Church, 101 Calvary Street, Greer, South Carolina 29650, conducted by Rev. Nathan Thomas. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memory Gardens. The family is at the home. Online condolences may be made at www.thewoodmortuary.com.
