Joe Zimmerman Obituary

Keith Zimmerman Greer, SC Joe "Keith" Zimmerman, 73, passed away on Wednesday, September 17, 2025. Born in Spartanburg, he was the son of the late Joe Elmer and Beatrice Murph Zimmerman and the loving husband of Carol Ann Zimmerman. He was a veteran of the US Army. Keith was a long-time member of Hejaz Shriners Hospital and a member of Reidville Masonic Lodge #102. He was a talented drummer, who played for many bands across the upstate, where he shared his love of music with others. Survivors also include two sons, Bryan Zimmerman and his wife, Lisa and Josh Epps and his wife, Tasha; his sister, Barbara Dickson and her husband, Bill; his six grandchildren, Nathan, Mason, Trace, Jonah, Jadyn and Arielle; a niece, Lisa Brewer; an nephew, Jeremy Parris; and his furry companion, Benji. Memorial services will be held at 5:30PM on Thursday, September 25, 2025 at Lyman Methodist Church with Pastor Andrew Sizemore and Pastor Ava Pridemore officiating with masonic rites and military rites. The family will receive friends from 4:30PM until 5:30PM prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Shriners Children's Hospital 950 W. Faris Road Greenville, SC 29605 and Lyman Global Methodist Church, 106 Groce Road Lyman SC 29365.
