Jodi Anderson Obituary

In Loving Memory of Jodi Wain Anderson (née Betterley)

March 9, 1970 - July 14, 2025

With heavy hearts and deep love, we announce the passing of Jodi Wain Anderson, a beloved wife, mother, and friend, who left this world on July 14, 2025, at the age of 55.

Jodi was born on March 9, 1970, and grew up in Brick Township, New Jersey. From a young age, she was known for her quiet strength, gentle spirit, and generous heart. Her kindness touched everyone she met-always ready to lend a hand, listen without judgment, and offer unwavering support to those she loved.

Jodi's greatest joy in life was her family. She is survived by her devoted husband, John Anderson III, and her five daughters: Cynthia Adams, Jessica Gentry, Stephanie Stephenson, Sophia Anderson, and Olivia Anderson. She was endlessly proud of each of them and found deep purpose in guiding and nurturing their lives with love, patience, and grace.

Jodi was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Linda and Jody Betterley, who now welcome her with open arms.

A true Gilmore Girls fan, Jodi found comfort in the simple beauty of life's moments-laughter around the kitchen table, quiet coffee mornings, and the unbreakable bonds between mothers and daughters. In her memory, we share a line from one of her favorite shows: "Where you lead, I will follow."

Though our hearts are broken, we carry forward her legacy of kindness, warmth, and unconditional love. Jodi's gentle presence will forever be missed, but never forgotten.

A private celebration of life will be held by the family.
