Joann Mostella Obituary

Obituary of Joann Mostella Joann Sloan Mostella, 84, widow of James Ronald "Ronnie" Mostella, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, April 20, 2025. Joann was born in Spartanburg to the late Effie Sloan and Laura Louise Brown Sloan. She was a member of Unity Baptist Church. Joann enjoyed cooking, crocheting, and fishing. She collected tea sets and enjoyed listening to guitar and piano music. Joann is survived by her son, Greg Mostella (Anita); a daughter, Karen Finch (Terry); two daughters-in-law, Becky Mostella and Ann Mostella; nine grandchildren; seven greatgrandchildren; one great-great grandson; two brothers, Pete Moore (Debbie) and Bob Moore. She was predeceased by two sons, Stanley Mostella and Ronald Mostella; a brother, Eddie Sloan; and seven sisters, Martha Sloan, Mag Woody, Jenny Sloan, Sarah Ball, Betty Page, Earlene Bailey, and Vivian Knight. The family will recieve friends Monday, April 28 at Fletcher Funeral Service from 10-11 am. The funeral services will follow in the chapel at 11 am. Burial will be in Graceland East Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to Unity Baptist Church, Unity Baptist Church, P.O. Box 80683, Simpsonville, SC 29680.
