Jimmy Krass Obituary

James Albert Krass, 56, widower of Cathy Elizabeth DeYoung Krass, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, July 9, 2025. Born in Tennessee, he was the son of the late Kathy and Roy Harper. Jimmy owned a construction company at one point in his career and was an excellent carpenter. He worked various other jobs including security at a detention center, a volunteer fireman, and a heavy equipment operator. Jimmy enjoyed hunting and target shooting. Jimmy is survived by two daughters, Angela Burns (Lance) and Paige Krass; and five grandchildren, Farrah, Michael, and Alayna Krass and Alyssa and AJ Burns. In addition to his parents and wife, Jimmy was preceded in death by a grandson, Kenneth Burns; and a sister Dawn Harper.
