Mrs. Vaughan is survived by a daughter, Ann Vaughan; a son, Randal Vaughan and wife, Sarah; three grandchildren, Dillon Vaughan with wife Sydne, Colton Vaughan, and Brenna Vaughan; and a great-grandson, Wyatt Vaughan. She was predeceased by her husband of 66 years, James Vaughan; an infant daughter; three brothers, John Wilton McCarter, Marion Clinton McCarter, and Lewis McCarter; and two sisters-in-law. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 4 o'clock Friday, October 10, 2025 at Green Pond Methodist Church. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to Green Pond Methodist Church, 168 Stoddard Mill Road, Gray Court, SC 29645.
