James Coker Obituary

James Roger Coker, 67, of Waterloo, loving husband to Cynthia Ann Coker passed away on August 30, 2025. Born in Greenville, SC, he was a son of Judy Ann Stead and the late James Alfred Coker. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Kristin Coker and Ryan (Melissa Oliver) Coker; and his siblings, Vincent (Merideth) Schmidt, Linda Schmidt and Carl (Joye) Schmidt. A visitation will be held on Thursday, September 11, 2025, from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM at Cannon-Byrd Funeral Home – Fountain Inn at 1150 North Main Street, Fountain Inn, SC 29644. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, September 12, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Our Lady of the Lourdes Catholic Church at 915 Mathis Road, Greenwood, SC 29649. Interment will follow in Cannon-Byrd Memorial Park in Fountain Inn. Additional information is forthcoming.
