Hilda Gregory Obituary

Hilda Elizabeth Gregory 87 of 302 Palmer Street transitioned into eternal life on Saturday, July 26 at her residence surrounded by her family and friends. Native of Greenville County, SC she was the daughter of the late William and Irene Pinson Foster, the widow of Rev. Harrison Gregory Jr, a member of Piney Grove Missionary Baptist Church and a former employee of J P Stevens. Hilda was also preceded in death by her siblings, Esaw, Joseph, Isiac, Jacob and Earlene Foster, Mildred Oliver, Azalee Watson, Lula Mae Ferguson, Lorene Ballenger, Corrine Dodd, Floree Smith, Marie Glen and Louisiana Davis. Surviving are: sons, Harrison Gregory III of Gaffney, SC and William Gregory of Spartanburg, SC; a daughter, Theresa Pace of the home; 10 grandchildren, a host of great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Viewing will be from 1:00 until 5:00 PM on Wednesday, July 30, 2025 in The Fred Singleton Slumber Room of the Gilmore Mortuary. Funeral Services will be 11:00 AM Thursday, July 31, 2025 in Piney Grove Missionary Baptist Church.
